Kevin Brown, Development Manager

 Mr. Brown is responsible for pre-development activity including, site selection, land acquisition and construction supervision and oversight.  Mr. Brown is the liaison between all design team members and local governmental agency staff, overseeing and directing due diligence and coordination during all phases of the project’s development.  He also processes all application and environmental documents.

Mr. Brown joined CDIC in May 2008 succeeding Mr. Hawthorne Welcher.  He has daily involvement in all aspects of the organization’s three recently completed low income housing developments as well as other smaller developments involved in new construction for nine single family and fifteen single family rehabilitation projects.

He brings over 8 years of years of commercial and residential bank experience. He holds a double major degree in Finance and Management Information Systems from University of South Carolina and licenses in Series 6 & 63 and Life, Accident and Health Insurance.
