Current Projects

SELF HELP HOUSING - A housing program method of construction in which groups of families work together to help each other build their own homes.  Each family must put 65% "sweat equity" into the total construction of their home, and each participant is qualified and approved based upon the amount they qualify for, thus creating a mixed-income development.

CEDAR SPRINGS - CDIC in partnership with the Spartanburg Housing Authority's non-profit, is constructing a forty-eight (48) unit Senior Living Facility in Spartanburg, SC  via the South Carolina State Housing's Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program.

DEERFIELD VILLAGE - CDIC in partnership with Jasper County Neighbors United (JCNU) is constructing twenty-six single family rental housing units in Hardeeville, SC via the South Carolina State Housing's Low-Income Tax Credit Program.

VALLEY HOMES COMMUNITY CENTER - A community center has been constructed as the Third Phase of the Villages at Horse Creek comprehensive development.  This Community Center will house the Head Start Pre-School Program for kids ages 3 to 4.  The Center will also be available for community meetings as well as Aiken County affiliated social events.
